Plaza theater- downtown el paso

This Spanish-Colonial Revival masterpiece is easily the best building in all of El Paso and sports intricately painted ceilings, mosaic-tiled floors, decorative metal railings and sconces and antique furnishings. We were lucky enough to have snuck in on a weekday to tour the lobby and the theater for ourselves. Originally built in 1930, it was restored only a few years ago. It was saved at least twice from demolition!
